Motor brushes inspected for wear

Did sprayer motor stall and not restart until gun is triggered again?

Inspection of pump for internal/external leaks

Perform Pressure Relief Procedure

Remove fluid intake and drain tube from paint, wipe excess paint off outside

Place fluid intake in flushing fluid. Use water for water base paint and mineral spirits for oil-based paint. Place drain tube in waste pail

Increase pressure 1/2 turn to start motor. Hold gun against paint pail. Disengage trigger lock. Trigger gun and increase pressure until the pump runs steady and flushing fluid appears

Stop triggering gun. Move gun to waste pail, hold gun against pail, trigger gun to thoroughly flush system

While continuing to trigger gun, turn prime valve down. Then, release gun trigger. Allow flushing fluid to circulate until fluid comes out of drain tube clear

Raise fluid intake above flushing fluid

Warning: This adjustment should be performed as necessary based on usage

Pump packing begins to leak after extended use

If leakage is observed, tighten packing nut down until leakage stops or lessens

Enter the number of gallons of operation before a repacking is required

Packing nut tightened without 0-ring removal?

Sign off on the sprayer throat packing adjustment

Inspect/clean fluid inlet strainer

Inspect motor shield vents for blockage

Fill TSL by adding through TSL fill point

Sign off on the daily sprayer inspection
