Sprayer Cleaning

Perform Pressure Relief Procedure

Remove Spray Tip Guard and Spray Tip

Remove Suction Tube and Drain Tube from paint

Check mark

Place Suction Tube in appropriate flushing fluid

Place Drain Tube in waste pail

Check mark

Flush Drain Tube and pump

Check mark

Turn Pressure Control Knob to OFF setting

Hold Spray Gun against a grounded metal waste pail

Check mark

Disengage Trigger Lock

Battery Replacement

Check mark

Turn sprayer OFF and disconnect power

Check mark

Remove the control box cover

Check mark

Remove black battery cover with a philips screwdriver

Check mark

Slide battery out of the holder, to the left

Check mark

Replace battery with a new CR2032 battery

Check mark

Place the battery cover back on the unit

Check mark

Hook the clip under the control board. NOTE: The cover should not move

Check mark

Tighten the screw back into place on the battery cover

Check mark

Close and screw the control box cover back on the unit

Sprayer Throat Packing Adjustment

Warning: This adjustment should be performed by trained personnel only!

Check if pump packing is leaking

Check mark

If pump packing is leaking, proceed to the next step. If not, end the procedure.

Enter the amount of operation (in gallons) before the leakage started

Check mark

Tighten the packing nut until leakage stops or lessens

Check mark

Sign off on the sprayer throat packing adjustment

Spray Tip Clog Clearing

Warning: Ensure the Spray Tip is fully seated and pushed all the way into the Spray Tip Guard.

Engage Trigger Lock

Check mark

Rotate Spray Tip to UNCLOG position

Check mark

Disengage Trigger Lock

Check mark

Trigger Spray Gun at waste area to clear clog

Check mark

Note: If Spray Tip is difficult to rotate when turning to the UNCLOG position, perform Pressure Relief Procedure, then turn Prime/Spray Valve horizontal to SPRAY position and repeat step 1.

Engage Trigger Lock

Check mark

Rotate Spray Tip back to SPRAY position

Check mark

Disengage Trigger Lock and continue spraying

Inspect/clean sprayer filter

Inspect/clean fluid inlet strainer

Inspect/clean Spray gun filter

Check mark

Inspect motor shield vents for blockage

Check mark

Fill TSL by adding through TSL fill point

Check mark

Sign off on the daily sprayer inspection
