Maintenance - Manual Lubrication

Add oil to the air motor intake port

Select the type of oil used for lubrication

Was the lubrication process completed successfully?

Is the unit fitted with an automatic inline oiler?

Adjust inline oiler to feed oil (drops per minute)

Is the oil feed rate set correctly to 1 drop per minute?

Check intake and exhaust filters after first 500 hours of operation

Determine how frequently filters should be checked during future operation

SPUR AND WORM REDUCERS - Lubrication

Verify the following lubrication requirements

Is the oil level sufficient to prevent performance loss or damage?

Select the operation orientation for oil filling

Remove both plugs for horizontal operation and add oil until overflow occurs

Fill to overflow point of upper most hole for vertical operation

Use Gast #AD220 or a detergent SAE #10 automotive engine oil for lubricating
