Brake Controller Adjustment
WARNING: Ensure Safety Before Road Tests
Ensure the area is clear of vehicular and pedestrian traffic
Brake Adjustment Procedure
Tow the Turf Tender at slow speed (approximately 8 mph) on a hard, level, and dry road surface
Activate the brake switch and hold for a few seconds; then release
Did the brakes lock up?
Repeat the procedure until the brakes operate properly
Place the cover back into position and secure
If Brakes Lock Up

Roller Bearings Lubrication
Consult the lubrication chart for recommended lubrication schedule
Grease the roller's bearings
Lubricate side conveyor bearings

Preparation
Ensure adequate work space around the Turf Tender
Open and secure the front and rear gates
If equipped with a side conveyor, swing it to the operating position for full access to both sides of the Turf Tender
Shut off the tractor engine before starting maintenance
Belt Removal
Remove the spinner assembly and both fenders
Remove the front and rear hydraulic motors and mounting brackets
Loosen the jam nut securing each of the four belt tensioning bolts
Brake Controller Testing
Test Light Connection
Connect the ground clip from the test light to a solid ground (WHITE wire)
Pierce the brake wire (BLUE wire) with the point of the test light
Brake Switch Activation
Activate the brake switch and hold
Does the test light get steadily brighter in intensity?
Release the brake switch
Does the test light go out after releasing the brake switch?
Post-Test Evaluation
Turf Tender Inside Tire Change
Preparation
Empty all material from the hopper
Chock the wheel(s) on the opposite side of the Turf Tender
Securing the Turf Tender
Hook the Turf Tender to a tractor with the parking brake set
Jack up the frame directly in front of the axle mount
Support the frame with jack stands
Ensure no cement blocks or unstable piles of wood blocks are used
