Warning: The filter material is paper, it can not be cleaned with water.

Remove the dust with a vacuum cleaner

Place the filter in the sun for approximately 6 hours.

By drying the photocatalytic deodorizing filter in the sun, its deodorizing and antibacterial capabilities are regenerated.

Sign off on the filter maintenance

Warning: Ensure that the voltage between the terminal of Power transistor (+) and (-) is approx. 0 volt before proceeding.

Voltage between the terminal of Power transistor (+) and (-) is approx. 0 volt?

Disconnect the compressor harness connector from the outdoor unit PCB. To disengage the connector, press the protrusion on the connector.

Measure resistance between power transistor (+) and (-) and the U terminal of the compressor connector with a multi-tester.

Measure resistance between power transistor (+) and (-) and the V terminal of the compressor connector with a multi-tester.

Measure resistance between power transistor (+) and (-) and the W terminal of the compressor connector with a multi-tester.

Are the measurement results within the acceptable range?

Sign off on the power transistor check

Base, stand and other fittings of the outdoor unit are not decayed or corroded

Nothing blocks the air inlets and the outlets of the indoor unit and the outdoor unit

Earth wire is not disconnected or broken

Drain comes smoothly out of the drain hose during COOL or DRY operation

If no drain water is seen, water may be leaking from the indoor unit

Stop operation and consult the service shop if water is leaking from the indoor unit

Sign off on the air conditioner check

Air filters cleaned with water or vacuum cleaner

Was the dust difficult to remove?

Air filters dried up in the shade

Sign off on the air filter cleaning

Warning: Be sure to wait 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.

Removed the parts around the compressor

Removed the terminal cover and the lead wires of the compressor

Removed the four way valve and the motor valve

Removed the nut by an open-end wrench

Confirm that the refrigerant is completely empty in the refrigerant circuit before starting work.

Warning!: Since it may happen that refrigeration oil in the compressor will catch fire, prepare wet cloth so as to extinguish the fire quickly.

Warning!: Ventilate when the refrigerant leaks during the work. (If the refrigerant is exposed to the fire, it will cause toxic gas).

Caution: Be careful about pipes and so on, which were heated up by a gas brazing machine, so as not to get burnt on your hands.
