2 Weekly Air Filter Cleaning

PCB / Electrical Box Removal
Warning: Be sure to wait 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
1. Remove the shelter.
The shelter has five hooks.
Be sure to avoid forgetting to restore the shelter and to avoid loosing or damaging it.
1) Undo the five hooks and remove the shelter.
2. Remove the PCB.
1) Disconnect the ground wire.
2) Remove the four screws fixing the PCB.
3) Disconnect the wire harness.
Air Conditioner Check
Base, stand and other fittings of the outdoor unit are not decayed or corroded
Nothing blocks the air inlets and the outlets of the indoor unit and the outdoor unit
Earth wire is not disconnected or broken
Drain comes smoothly out of the drain hose during COOL or DRY operation
If no drain water is seen, is water leaking from the indoor unit?
If water is leaking from the indoor unit, stop operation and consult the service shop
Sign off on the air conditioner check
Compressor Removal
Warning: Be sure to wait 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
Removed the parts around the compressor
Removed the terminal cover and the lead wires of the compressor
Removed the mounting nut for the compressor
Removed the four way valve and the motor valve
Confirm that the refrigerant is completely empty in the refrigerant circuit before starting work.
Warning!: Since it may happen that refrigeration oil in the compressor will catch fire, prepare wet cloth so as to extinguish the fire quickly.
Warning!: Ventilate when the refrigerant leaks during the work. (If the refrigerant is exposed to the fire, it will cause toxic gas).
Caution: Be careful about pipes and so on, which were heated up by a gas brazing machine, so as not to get burnt on your hands.
Hall IC Check
Check the connector connection
Output voltage between pins 1 and 3
Number of pulses between pins 2 and 3 when the fan motor is operating
Select the faulty part based on the results
Based on the selected faulty part, replace the corresponding component
Sign off on the Hall IC Check
