Select the faulty part based on the results

Based on the selected faulty part, replace the corresponding component

Take off the air purifying filter, photocatalytic deodorizing filter.

Select the filters cleaned or replaced

Set the air filter, air purifying filter and photocatalytic deodorizing filter as they were and close the front grille.

CAUTION: Don’t touch the metal parts of the indoor unit. If you touch those parts, this may cause an injury.

When removing or attaching the front grille, use a robust and stable stool and watch your steps carefully.

When removing or attaching the front grille, support the grille securely with hand to prevent it from falling.

For cleaning, do not use hot water above 40 °C, benzine, gasoline, thinner, nor other volatile oils, polishing compound, scrubbing brushes, nor other hand stuff.

After cleaning, is the front grille securely fixed?

Warning: Ensure that the voltage between the terminal of Power transistor (+) and (-) is approx. 0 volt before checking power transistor.

Voltage between the terminal of Power transistor (+) and (-) is approx. 0 volt?

Disconnect the compressor harness connector from the outdoor unit PCB. To disengage the connector, press the protrusion on the connector.

Measure resistance between power transistor (+) and (-) and the U terminal of the compressor connector with a multi-tester.

Measure resistance between power transistor (+) and (-) and the V terminal of the compressor connector with a multi-tester.

Measure resistance between power transistor (+) and (-) and the W terminal of the compressor connector with a multi-tester.

Evaluate the measurement results for a pass/fail judgment.

Sign off on the power transistor check

Warning: The filter material is paper, it can not be cleaned with water.

Remove the dust with a vacuum cleaner

Place the filter in the sun for approximately 6 hours.
