Warning: Be sure to wait 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.

Be sure to avoid forgetting to restore the shelter and to avoid loosing or damaging it.

1) Undo the five hooks and remove the shelter.

2) Remove the four screws fixing the PCB.

3) Disconnect the wire harness.

Warning: Always replace batteries with the same type and replace both at the same time.

If the system is not in use for a long period, remove the batteries.

Recommended to replace batteries once a year.

If the remote controller display begins to fade or reception deteriorates, replace with new alkali batteries.

Using manganese batteries reduces the lifespan.

The attached batteries are for initial use only.

The usable period of the batteries may be short depending on the manufactured date of the air conditioner.

Are the batteries of the same type?

Are both batteries being replaced at the same time?

Measure the power supply waveform between pins 1 and 3 on the terminal board

Is there waveform disturbance near the zero cross?

1. Operate the “fan only” for several hours on a fine day to dry out the inside.

• Press “MODE” button and select “fan”operation.

• Press “ON/OFF” button and start operation.

2. Clean the air filters and set them again.

3. Take out batteries from the remote controller.

4. Turn OFF the breaker for the room air conditioner.

• When a multi outdoor unit is connected, make sure the heating operation is not used at the other room before you use the fan operation. (page 22)
