Output voltage between pins 1 and 3

Number of pulses between pins 2 and 3 when the fan motor is operating

Select the faulty part based on the results

Air filters cleaned with water or vacuum cleaner

Was the dust difficult to remove?

If the dust was difficult to remove, proceed with the following steps

Air filters washed with neutral detergent thinned with lukewarm water

Air filters dried up in the shade

Sign off on the air filter cleaning

• Hold the grille by the tabs on the two sides and lift it unitl it stops with a click.

• Supporting the front grille with one hand, release the lock by sliding down the knob with the other hand.

• To remove the front grille, pull it toward yourself with both hands.

• Wipe it with a soft cloth soaked in water.

• Only neutral detergent may be used.

• In case of washing the grille with water, dry it with cloth, dry it up in the shade after washing.

Open the front grille. (page 24)

Take off the air purifying filter, photocatalytic deodorizing filter

Air purifying filter and photocatalytic deodorizing filter removed

Select the filter cleaned or replaced

Set the air filter, air purifying filter and photocatalytic deodorizing filter as they were and close the front grille

Filters set and front grille closed

Sign off on the filter cleaning

EV connector correctly inserted in the PCB

All EVs generate latching sound after power cycle

If any EV does not generate latching sound, proceed to next step

Conductivity between pins 1, 3 and 6

Conductivity between pins 2, 4 and 5

If no conductivity, the EV coil is faulty

If no EV generates latching sound, the outdoor unit PCB is faulty

Good coil generates latching sound when mounted in the EV unit
