Pre-Decontamination Safety Measures

Ensure proper decontamination is performed if contamination by hazardous substances has occurred.

Disconnect the chamber from the power supply.

Select appropriate disinfectants for use

Is there any doubt regarding the suitability of cleaning products?

Use adequate personal safety controls.

Ensure the following safety precautions are taken before maintenance

Verify that the chamber is not wet during operation or maintenance works

Confirm that maintenance work is conducted by licensed electricians or authorized experts

Ensure refrigeration system maintenance is conducted by qualified personnel trained according to EN 13313:2010

Verify that all work on the refrigeration system is documented in a service log book

Conduct a leak test in accordance with Regulation (EU) 517/2014

Replace the door gasket only when cold to prevent damage

Turn off the chamber at the main power switch and disconnect the power plug.

Wear protective gloves and goggles.

Ensure no water or cleaning agents are spilled over the inner and outer surfaces.

Select cleaning agents for exterior surfaces, inner chamber, racks, door gaskets

Select cleaning agents for instrument panel

Select cleaning agents for zinc coated hinge parts, rear chamber wall

Wipe the surfaces with a moistened towel.

Turn off the chamber at the main power switch

Ensure the chamber does not become wet during operation or maintenance

Is the maintenance work being conducted by a licensed electrician or authorized expert?

Is the refrigeration system maintenance being conducted by qualified personnel trained according to EN 13313:2010?

Inspect the condenser fan for dust accumulation

Turn off the chamber at the main power switch

Ensure the chamber does not become wet during operation or maintenance

Confirm the rear panel of the chamber is not removed

Is the maintenance work being conducted by a licensed electrician or authorized expert?

Is the refrigeration system maintenance conducted by qualified personnel trained according to EN 13313:2010?
