1 Daily Washer Maintenance
Beginning of Day
Inspect the door interlock before starting operation
Is the door lock and interlock functioning properly?
Disconnect power and call a service technician if the door lock and interlock are not functioning properly.
Check the machine for leaks by starting an unloaded cycle to fill the machine.
Verify the following during the leak check
Inspect the water inlet valve hose connections on the back of the machine for leaks.
Inspect the chemical connections for leaks or cracks for machines equipped with an automatic chemical supply system.
Inspect the steam hose connections for leaks, if applicable.
1 Monthly Washer Maintenance
WARNING
To reduce the risk of electrical shock, serious injury or death, disconnect the electrical power to washerextractor before examining the wiring.
1. Inspect the electrical connections for looseness. Tighten as required after disconnecting power.
a. Verify that insulation is intact on all external wires and that all connections are secure. If bare wire is evident, call a service technician.
2. Clean inlet hose filter screens.
a. Turn water off and allow valve and water line to cool, if necessary.
b. Unscrew inlet hose from the faucet and remove filter screen.
c. Clean with soapy water and reinstall. Replace if worn or damaged.
d. Repeat procedure with the filter located inside the valve at the back of the machine.
1 Yearly Washer Maintenance
Pre-Maintenance Safety
Disconnect power to the machine at its source before performing maintenance procedures.
Panel and Hose Inspection
Inspect all hose, drain, and overflow connections/clamps for leaks and visible signs of deterioration. Replace as necessary.
Belt Inspection and Adjustment
Inspect the belt for unusual wear, frayed edges, and improper belt tension. Replace belts and/or adjust tensioning elements as necessary.
Determine if belt(s) require replacement or adjustment using the following methods. Call a qualified service technician if necessary.
Verify the belt is centered on the basket pulley within the specified limits for the model.

Remove dirt and grease with detergent and water.
Thoroughly rinse and dry after washing.
Corrosion Prevention
Avoid contact with dissimilar metals to prevent galvanic corrosion.
Wipe clean any salty or acidic residues.

Rub in the direction of the polish lines or grain of the stainless steel.
