Disengage process operations and relieve all system pressure.

Disengage main power supply and verify the Power light on the display is 'off'.

Remove the lift-off access panel and set aside.

Remove the necessary panels to gain access to the pump motor.

Drain machine by removing the pump casing drain plug.

Remove the three motor wire leads from the motor wiring terminals and map the wire terminal locations.

Inspect heater contactor for signs of wear or pitting

Is the heater contactor cycling frequently?

Replace heater contactor if wear or pitting is observed

Inspect pump motor starter for signs of wear or pitting

Replace pump motor starter if wear or pitting is observed

Is there any sign of overheating in the components?

Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Unbox the unit before accepting delivery

Take photographs of any suspected damage

Document damage on the delivery receipt

Refuse the shipment if damage is unacceptable

Ensure all equipment is available

Disengage process operations according to the unit manual

Remove the 'to process' temperature probe and insert a ½” plug

Prepare an ice bath and place a digital thermometer in it

Place the probe in the ice bath

Disengage process operations and verify all system pressure is relieved and the unit’s pressure gauges read '0'.

Disengage main power supply and verify the Power light on the display is 'off'.

Remove the lift-off access panel and set aside.

Disconnect the valve wiring harness.

Remove the AVTTM valve’s drip cover.

Remove the 2 mounting screws securing the motor/gearbox assembly.

Carefully separate the motor/gearbox from the attached coupling from the valve assembly.
