Heater Replacement
Preparation
Disengage operations and ensure all system pressure is relieved and the unit’s pressure gauges read '0'.
Disengage main power supply and verify the Power light on the display is 'off'.
Access and Drainage
Remove the lift-off access panel and set aside.
Drain machine by removing the pump casing drain plug.
Heater Disconnection
Remove heater’s junction box cover to locate wiring connections.
Note the wiring connections for correct reinstallation.
Pressure Switch Maintenance
Preparation
Shut down unit operations according to section 3.4 in the manual
Ensure proper lock-out procedures are followed
Confirm system pressure is eliminated and the unit’s pressure gauges read '0' pressure
Pressure Switch Removal
Drain unit by removing the pump casing drain plug
Remove the capillary connection from the cooling cylinder to the pressure switch
Remove the brass elbow mounted on the pressure switch
Disconnect the electrical connections to the pressure switch
Sensor Probe Maintenance
Reconnection Procedure
Unplug the service connection
Shake out the water from the connection
Replug the service connection
Did the yellow Alert icon disappear?
Replacement Procedure
Stop process operations as described in section 3.4 of the manual
Ensure all process pressure is relieved and pressure gauges read '0' pressure
Drain the unit by removing the pump casing drain plug

Consult with Advantage Service Department to determine if unit can be converted. Record details of the consultation.

Cooling Valve Maintenance
Preparation
Disengage process operations and verify all system pressure is relieved and the unit’s pressure gauges read '0'.
Disengage main power supply and verify the Power light on the display is 'off'.
Remove the lift-off access panel and set aside.
Disconnect the valve wiring harness.
Remove the AVTTM valve’s drip cover.
Motor/Gearbox Assembly Service
Remove the 2 mounting screws securing the motor/gearbox assembly.
Carefully separate the motor/gearbox from the attached coupling from the valve assembly.
