Disengage operations and ensure all system pressure is relieved and the unit's pressure gauges read '0'.

Disengage main power supply and verify the Power light on the display is 'off'.

Remove the lift-off access panel and set aside.

Drain machine by removing the pump casing drain plug.

Remove heater's junction box cover to locate wiring connections and map the wiring connections for correct reinstallation.

Disconnect the three power leads from the heater terminals and remove the power cord from the junction box.

Disengage process operations and verify all system pressure is relieved and the unit's pressure gauges read '0'.

Disengage main power supply and verify the Power light on the display is 'off'.

Remove the lift-off access panel and set aside.

Disconnect the valve wiring harness.

Remove the AVT valve's drip cover.

Remove the 2 mounting screws securing the motor/gearbox assembly to the valve bracket.

Disengage process operations and verify all system pressure is relieved and the unit's pressure gauges read '0'

Disengage main power supply and verify the Power light on the display is 'off'

Remove the 'To Process' temperature probe and insert a 1/2" plug in its place

Record the temperature of the ice water bath using an accurate digital thermometer

Become familiar with the manual and operating characteristics of the equipment.

Ensure proper operator training, installation, operation, and maintenance of the water temperature controller.

Follow proper lock-out procedures.

Is the system pressure eliminated and the unit's pressure gauges reading '0' pressure?

Shut down unit operations according to section 3.4 in the manual.

Drain unit by removing the pump casing drain plug.

Disengage process operations according to the procedure outlined in section 3.4.

Ensure all system pressure is relieved and the unit's pressure gauges read '0'.

Verify the Power light on the display is 'off'.

Remove the thermoformed front panel and set aside.

Count the screws removed from the front panel.
