Ensure all personnel are wearing suitable personal protective equipment (PPE)

Verify the area is clear of unauthorized personnel

Measure the pressure-drop between the inlet and outlet pipes using a differential pressure gauge

Compare the measured pressure-drop with the specified values in the annex

Prepare a tank with 5% phosphoric acid or 5% oxalic acid solution

Ensure the liquid detergent circulates around the exchanger at a flow rate at least 1.5 times higher than the rated working flow rate

Ensure all fans are turned off before inspection

Do not remove the protective grilles under any circumstances

Check that the fan grilles are clear of obstructions

Is there any visible damage to the fan grilles?

Was the area around the fan cleaned after inspection?

Describe any issues found during inspection

Ensure all personal protective equipment is worn

Inspect the area for any obstructions around the coils

Wash the coils with detergents and water

Brush the fins gently to avoid damage

Remove any foreign bodies from the condensing coils

Is it possible to clean the coils completely?

Check power consumption of the unit

Check contactors on the electric panel

Inspect motors and fan blades for cleanliness and abnormal vibrations

Ensure motor cleanliness and absence of impurities

Check gas charge and humidity in circuit with unit running at full capacity

Check the functioning of the maximum and minimum pressure switches

Bleed air from the chilled water system

Clean the unit using a moist cloth

Inspect the general conditions of the unit

Is there any corrosion on the unit framework?

Treat any detected corrosion with protective paint
