Ensure the compressor is running before checking the oil level

Record the oil level in the sight-glass

Is the oil level visible through the sight-glass?

Is there a prolonged and excessive presence of foam during operation?

Describe any issues observed during the inspection

Ensure all necessary equipment is available

Drain and evacuate the circuit to remove non-condensable gases and humidity

Wash the refrigerant system thoroughly

Refrigerant and Oil Restoration

Enter the exact amount of new oil to be restored as per the serial no. plate

Enter the exact amount of refrigerant to be restored as per the serial no. plate

Is the refrigerant piped from a cylinder in the liquid phase?

Measure the pressure-drop between the inlet and outlet pipes using a differential pressure gauge.

Is the pressure-drop within the specified range according to the tables in the annex?

Is there any incrustation or clogging detected in the heat exchanger?

Select the type of acid to be used for cleaning

Enter the flow rate of the liquid detergent (must be at least 1.5 times higher than the rated working flow rate).

Perform the first detergent cycle to clean the worst of the dirt.

Ensure all personal protective equipment is worn

Inspect the area for any obstructions around the coils

Gently brush the fins to avoid damage

Are there any foreign bodies blocking the condensing coils?

Remove any foreign bodies from the condensing coils

Wash the coils with water and detergent

Ensure the unit is switched off

Check ambient temperature and refrigerant percentage in oil

Is the oil level partially covering the sight-glass on the level matching tube?

Is the oil level clearly visible through the sight-glass?

Is the oil level flat without any ripples?
