Ensure all necessary equipment is available

Drain and evacuate the circuit to remove non-condensable gases and humidity

Wash the refrigerant system thoroughly

Restoration of Oil and Refrigerant

Enter the exact amount of new oil to be restored as shown on the serial no. plate

Enter the exact amount of refrigerant to be restored as shown on the serial no. plate

Is the refrigerant piped from a cylinder in the liquid phase?

Measure the pressure-drop between the inlet and outlet pipes using a differential pressure gauge.

Is the pressure-drop within the specified range?

Is there any incrustation or clogging detected?

Select the type of acid to be used for cleaning

Enter the flow rate of the liquid detergent

Perform the first detergent cycle to clean the worst of the dirt.

Ensure all fans are turned off before inspection

Do not remove the protective grilles under any circumstances

Check that the fan grilles are clear from obstructions

Is the performance of the unit satisfactory?

Describe any obstructions or filth found during inspection

Was any cleaning required during the inspection?

Ensure the unit is switched off

Is the oil level partially covering the sight-glass on the level matching tube?

Switch on the unit and ensure it is in nominal conditions

Is the oil level clearly visible through the sight-glass and flat without ripples?

Ensure the compressor is running

Is the oil level visible through the sight-glass?

Is the oil level within the normal range?

Is there any foam present when the unit starts?

Is there prolonged and excessive foam during operation?
