1000 Hourly Walk-Behind Scrubber Maintenance
FaST water and air filters (option): Replace
FOR SAFETY: Before leaving or servicing machine, stop on level surface, set parking brake (if so equipped), turn off machine, and remove key.
Every 1000 hours replace the water filter and air filter located in the FaST detergent injector. Order filter kit p/n 9003009.
To access the detergent injector assembly, lower the scrub head and remove the front cover.
Remove the injector assembly from clamps.
Replace the water and air filter. An 8mm hex wrench required to install new water filter.
Scrub brush motors: Check motor brushes
Propelling motor: Check motor brushes
Transaxle: Check lubricant level

Rear casters: Lubricate
Did you lubricate the rear caster with Lubriplate EMB grease?
Cylindrical scrub brush drive belts: Check tension
Safety Precautions: Before leaving or servicing machine, stop on level surface, set parking brake (if so equipped), turn off machine, and remove key.
Enter the new belt tension (should be a 3 mm (0.1 in) deflection from a force of 1.37 to 1.48 kg (3.0 to 3.26 lb) at the belt midpoint)
Enter the old belt tension (should be a deflection of 3 mm (0.1 in) with a force of 1.03 to 1.14 kg (2.28 to 2.52 lb))

Battery cells: Check electrolyte level
NOTE: Do Not check the electrolyte level if the machine is equipped with a battery watering system.
FOR SAFETY: When servicing machine, keep all metal objects off batteries. Avoid contact with battery acid.
The electrolyte level is slightly above the battery plates before charging.
After charging, distilled water is added up to about 3 mm (0.12 in) below the sight tubes.
NOTE: Make sure the battery caps are in place while charging. There may be a sulfur smell after charging batteries. This is normal.

The lifetime of the batteries depends on their proper maintenance. To get the most life from the batteries
Do not charge the batteries more than once a day and only after running the machine for a minimum of 15 minutes.
200 Hourly Battery Terminal / Cable Maintenance
Warning: For trained personnel only. Keep all metallic objects off the batteries.

Clean the surface of the batteries, including terminals and cable clamps, with a strong solution of baking soda and water
Check for worn or damaged wires
Do not remove battery caps when cleaning batteries.
