Warning: Only trained personnel should perform this procedure.

Does the motor have grease fittings?

If the motor does not have grease fittings, stop the procedure.

Enter the motor manufacturer's recommendations for lubrication frequency and type of grease.

Did you use 1-2 shots of grease?

Did you use a hand operated grease gun at no more than 40 PSI?

Did you lubricate the motor bearings while the motor was running?

Sign off on the motor bearing lubrication

Enter the current vibration reading

Compare the current reading with the initial startup reading recorded in Table 3

Are there any major differences in the readings?

If major differences are present, determine and correct the cause before putting the blower back into operation

Select the possible causes of vibration problems

Sign off on the vibration check

Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!

If the wheel is unbalanced, it must be rebalanced or replaced.

Choose the method of balancing the blower wheel

Is the wheel balanced after the chosen method?

If the wheel is still unbalanced, repeat the procedure or replace the wheel.

Sign off on the wheel balance check
