Touch Panel Replacement
Preparation
Remove the Terminal Main PCBA and the LC Display
Remove the Function Label
Remove the Terminal top housing
Installation
Install a new Function Label
Install the new Terminal top housing
Calibration
Calibrate the Touch Panel
Function Label Replacement
Remove the old label
Use a broad blade to remove the label from a corner
Ensure not to cut into the plastic Housing or yourself
Work slowly to allow adhesive time to release
Wear eye protection when using a knife
Clean the glue residue from the Housing surface
Use a section of the adhesive on the removed label to pick up remaining adhesive
Use knife or fingers to roll up remaining adhesive
If adhesive smears, use a cotton cloth to pick up as much as possible
Feet Replacement
Preparation
Ensure all necessary tools are available
Verify that the replacement feet assemblies are on hand
Disassembly
Remove the existing feet assemblies from the base
Assembly of Bearing Components
Check that all bearing components are present
Is the curved surface of the disks facing the ball bearings?
Placement of Load Bearing Plate
Load Cell Protection Screw Removal
Attention: This process is only needed for 1, 2 and 3 decimal scales.
Screw Removal Process
Place the load cell in front of you, as shown in the picture below.
Remove the screw on your left side, ensuring the spider does not shift from its position.
Remove the screw on the right side.
Remove both screws with shims completely from the load cell.
Store the screws and shims in a safe place.

Ensure ESD protection is in place
Use a conductive mat with wrist straps
Terminal Module Disassembly
Open the Terminal Module
Remove the accessory module, if equipped
Remove the Interconnect PCBA
Remove the speaker by removing the 2 screws and lifting it out
Remove the Main PCBA
