Power Supply PCB Replacement

Open Unit

Disconnect cables

Unscrew L and remove Power Supply PCB

Install new Power Supply PCB

Reconnect cables

Close Unit

Test the unit for proper operation

Run this procedure

Interface PCB Replacement

Open Unit

Disconnect Interface Cable P on Interface PCB R

Lift out and remove/replace Interface PCB

Check that all the parts are in place

Post replacement verification

Verify the new Interface PCB is securely installed

Ensure all cables are properly connected

Post replacement cleanup

Clean the work area

Run this procedure

Main PCB Replacement

Preparation

Open Unit (see section 1.4)

Disconnect RS Cable G

Power Supply Disconnection

Disconnect power (red) cable H on Power Supply PCB

Disconnect ground (black) cable H on Power Supply PCB

Print Head Removal

Remove Print Head C (see section 1.5)

Main PCB Replacement

Run this procedure

Print Head / Rubber Pad Replacement

Preparation

Open Unit (see section 1.4)

Disconnect Print Head C from Main PCB D

Print Head Replacement

Remove the ribbon cartridge E

Loosen the 2 front screws

Remove the 2 rear screws

Replace the Print Head

Rubber Pad Replacement

Run this procedure

DC Power Socket / Power Switch Replacement

Preparation

Open Unit (see section 1.4)

Disconnect affected cables

Switch Removal

Pinch retaining clips

Lift switch A out

Post Replacement Check

Is the new switch securely in place?

Are all cables reconnected properly?

Run this procedure
