Gather necessary cleaning items

Prepare cleaning solutions in buckets

Disconnect the syrup-line side of the BIB connector

Rinse connector with warm tap water

Connect syrup connector to BIB connector and immerse both into Bucket 1

Set Control Board to 'Purge' mode and activate sequence

Draw rinse water through system until clean water is dispensed

Unplug the unit before servicing or cleaning

Fill a small cup with warm to hot water

Immerse the nozzle area fully by drawing the cup up and around the nozzle

Allow syrup to dissolve into the water

Change the water several times to assure the syrup is adequately removed

Wear rubber gloves and eye protection

Ensure the drain pan is in place under soda valves

Immerse syrup connector in warm water (maximum 100°F, 38°C) to remove syrup residue

Flush sanitizing solution from syrup system

Ensure no residual sanitizing solution is left in the system

Check that all supplies are adequate

Clean the drain pan, grid, and splash panel

Prepare a bucket of warm to hot water

Submerge connector in water until syrup residue is dissolved
