Check if the bin switch light is on with the water curtain/ice dampers closed

Disconnect electrical power to the entire ice machine

Check for continuity across the fuse with an ohmmeter

Visually inspect the PTCR for signs of physical damage

Wait at least 10 minutes for the PTCR to cool to room temperature

Remove the PTCR from the ice machine

Measure the resistance of the PTCR

Enter the resistance reading for Two Terminal PTCR Black

Enter the resistance reading for Two Terminal PTCR Blue

Enter the resistance reading for Three Terminal PTCR Tan

Check if the resistance readings are within the specified range

Inspect the bridge connecting the cubes for thickness

Is the bridge thickness approximately 1/8" (3 mm)?

Adjust the ice thickness probe adjustment screw if necessary

Place a 9/32" (7 mm) drill bit between the ice thickness probe and the evaporator for initial adjustment

Make final adjustments to achieve a 1/8" (3 mm) thick bridge

Ensure the ice thickness probe wire doesn’t restrict movement of the probe

Start an ice making cycle by pressing the power button

Remove water curtain or splash guard if present

Rotate and remount the probe with the nipple facing away from the evaporator

Navigate to Ice Sense in the menu

Scroll down to “Service” and press the right arrow

Scroll down to “RealTimeData” and press the right arrow

Soak probes in cleaning solution

Reinstallation and Sanitization

Sanitize ice machine and bin/dispenser interior surfaces
