Disconnect thermistor from control board

Inspect the bridge connecting the cubes for thickness

Is the bridge thickness approximately 1/8" (3 mm)?

Adjust the ice thickness probe adjustment screw if necessary

Place a 9/32" (7 mm) drill bit between the ice thickness probe and the evaporator for initial adjustment

Make final adjustments to achieve a 1/8" (3 mm) thick bridge

Ensure the ice thickness probe wire doesn’t restrict movement of the probe

Scroll down to Service and press right arrow

Scroll down to Diagnostics and press right arrow

Scroll down to Temp Sensors and press right arrow to display thermistor temperature readings

Enter the thermistor temperature reading

Is the thermistor reading within the normal range?

Check for open or shorted thermistor

Mix Manitowoc ice machine cleaner and water

Soak probes in cleaner/water solution

Reinstallation and Sanitization

Sanitize the ice machine and bin/dispenser interior surfaces

Perform keystrokes on the display

Press Menu, scroll down to Service and press the right arrow

Scroll down to Diagnostics, press the right arrow and select Diagnostics

Display reads Control Board, press right arrow

Scroll down to enbl relays and press right arrow to start control board test

Verify control board relays are energized

Test for line voltage at the individual components

Is line voltage present and the component non-functional?
