Lubricate motor bearings with selected grease

Ensure motor is powered off and locked out

Verify that the motor has cooled down to a safe temperature

Check motor bearings for the following conditions

Is there a provision for relubrication on the motor bearings?

Disassemble and inspect bearings for wear or damage

Lubricate bearings with compatible grease (Exxon Mobil Polyrex EM or Chevron SRI)

Adjust belt alignment if necessary

Record any observations or issues noted during the inspection

Ensure fan is in operation before lubrication

Enter the number of grease injections used

Pump grease slowly until a slight bead forms around the bearing seals

Adjust lubrication interval based on installation type

Are there specialized lubrication instructions on fan labels?
