Loosen the motor plate mounting bolts to relieve the belt tension

Remove the pulleys from the shaft

Was excessive force required to remove the pulleys?

Inspect the trueness of the pulley if a three-jaw puller was used

Check if motor has provisions for relubrication

Check motor nameplate for lubrication instructions

Use compatible grease for lubrication

Is the motor in a severe application environment?

Is the fan operating at any speed?

Is the temperature below -30°F?

Consult factory for greasing interval.

Are there any specialized lubrication instructions on the fan labels?

Select the type of lubricant used

Is the lubricant compatible with the installation?

Lubricate the bearing while the fan is in operation.
