Record the current RPM of the fan

Record the current temperature in °F

Is the fan in operation during lubrication?

Pump grease slowly until a slight bead forms around the bearing seals

If the bearing cannot be seen, did you use no more than three injections with a hand-operated grease gun?

Is there any excessive grease around the bearing seals?

Drill two holes with 1/4” diameter

Work puller slowly to back wheel off the shaft

Is the fan operating at any speed?

Is the temperature above 200°F?

Ensure fan bearings are prelubricated

Check for any specialized lubrication instructions on fan labels

Select the type of lubricant used

Is the fan in operation during lubrication?

Pump grease slowly until a slight bead forms around the bearing seals

Are there lubrication instructions on the motor nameplate?

Inspect motor bearings for relubrication provisions

Use polyurea mineral oil NGLI #2 grease
