Gardner Denver Pressure-Swing Desiccant Type Compressed Air Dryer DGH90

Check process and pilot valves for the following issues

Check purge pressure adjustment valve for the following issues

Refer to section 8.2.8 for additional instructions

De-pressurize and de-energize the dryer

Remove the fill and drain plugs from desiccant tower

Drain the spent desiccant into a container

Tap the sides of the vessels with a rubber mallet if necessary to loosen desiccant

Replace the drain plug using Teflon tape or another suitable sealant

Fill the desiccant tower with dry desiccant without packing it

De-pressurize dryer by running dryer and allowing system pressure to purge to atmosphere

Vent remaining pressure to atmosphere through the manual drain on the pilot air filter

Remove the filter bowl by pushing up, turning counterclockwise and then pulling straight down

Replace the element by unthreading the deflector disc/nut, replacing the element, and reassembling with disc/nut

Clean and lubricate o-ring at top of bowl
