De-pressurize the pilot air filter housing before servicing

Slowly open manual drain valve to verify de-pressurization

De-pressurize dryer by running it and allowing system pressure to purge to atmosphere

Remove the filter bowl by pushing up, turning counterclockwise, and pulling straight down

De-pressurize and de-energize the dryer

Remove the fill and drain plugs from desiccant tower

Drain the spent desiccant into a container

Tap the sides of the vessels with a rubber mallet if necessary to loosen desiccant

Replace the drain plug using Teflon tape or another suitable sealant

Fill the desiccant tower with dry desiccant without packing it

Check valves for leaks and proper operation

Is the purge pressure adjustment valve properly adjusted?
