Warning: Follow the Service and maintenance procedures given throughout this manual and in component literature shipped with the boiler.

Warning: The boiler should be inspected annually only by a qualified service technician.

Warning: Electrical shock hazard – Turn off power to the boiler before any service operation on the boiler except as noted otherwise in this instruction manual.

Inspect all boiler wiring, making sure wires are in good condition and securely attached.

Is the wiring in acceptable condition?

Ensure all service and maintenance procedures are followed as per the manual and component literature.

Verify that the boiler is inspected annually by a qualified service technician.

Turn off power to the boiler before any service operation to prevent electrical shock.

Flush the entire heating system prior to fill and start-up.

Clean the entire heating system with an approved pre-commissioning cleaner

Clean all water filtering devices in the system.

Flush the cleaning solution out of the entire system and refill.

Ensure the boiler is turned off to prevent electrical shock.

Verify that the boiler is inspected annually by a qualified service technician.

Remove the ignition and flame sense electrodes from the boiler heat exchanger access cover.

Remove any deposits accumulated on the ignition/flame sense electrode using sandpaper.

Were the electrodes cleaned satisfactorily?

Replace with new electrodes if cleaning was unsatisfactory.

Turn off power to the boiler before starting any service operation

Ensure all service and maintenance procedures are followed as per the manual and component literature

Propane Conversion Verification

Verify propane conversion has been completed per the Propane Conversion instructions

Check boiler rating plate to determine fuel setting

If set to natural gas, confirm LP venturi installation and gas valve adjustment for LP conversion

Do not adjust gas valve outlet pressure as it is factory-set for correct outlet pressure

Ensure power to the boiler is turned off before starting inspection

Verify that the inspection is performed by a qualified service technician

Remove the front access cover of the boiler

Inspect the interior of the boiler for any visible damage or issues

Vacuum any sediment from inside the boiler and components

Remove any obstructions found inside the boiler
