Ensure all service and maintenance procedures are followed as per the manual and component literature.

Verify that the boiler is inspected annually by a qualified service technician.

Turn off power to the boiler before any service operation to avoid electrical shock.

Flush the entire heating system prior to fill and start-up.

Clean the entire heating system with an approved pre-commissioning cleaner

Clean all water filtering devices in the system.

Flush the cleaning solution out of the entire system and refill.

Ensure all service and maintenance procedures are followed as per the manual and component literature.

Verify that the boiler is inspected annually by a qualified service technician.

Turn off power to the boiler before any service operation, except as noted otherwise in the instruction manual.

Ensure the water meets the requirements of the manual before filling the system.

Fill to correct system pressure (minimum 12 psi for cold water fill).

Ensure power to the boiler is turned off

Remove the ignition and flame sense electrodes from the boiler heat exchanger access cover

Clean the ignition/flame sense electrode

Remove any deposits using sandpaper

If electrodes cannot be cleaned satisfactorily, replace with new ones

Replace ignition/flame sense electrode

Ensure gasket is in good condition

Ensure power to the boiler is turned off before starting maintenance

Verify that all service and maintenance procedures are followed as per the manual

Record the pressure reading from the pressure/temperature gauge

Record the temperature reading from the pressure/temperature gauge

Is the pressure within the normal operating range?
