Initial Setup

Turn the main power off to the boiler by placing the 'On/Off' switch in the OFF position.

Remove the flue temperature sensor from the flue pipe connection.

Combustion Measurement

Turn the main power on to the boiler by placing the 'On/Off' switch in the ON position.

Navigate to the Setup Screen from the Home Screen by pressing the SETUP button and enter the installer password.

Burner Flame Check

Safety Precautions

Turn off power to the boiler before any service operation.

Ensure the boiler is inspected annually by a qualified service technician.

Flame Inspection

Inspect flame through observation window.

Is the flame satisfactory at both high fire and low fire?

Burner Cleaning and Replacement

If the flame is unsatisfactory, has the boiler been turned off and allowed to cool down?

Remove the burner for cleaning.

Thermostat Circuits Check

Safety Precautions

Ensure all service and maintenance procedures are followed as per the manual.

Verify that the boiler is inspected annually by a qualified service technician.

Turn off power to the boiler before any service operation.

Thermostat Circuit Inspection

Disconnect the two external wires connected to each of the heat/loop demand terminals on the connection board.

Connect a voltmeter across the two incoming wires and close each thermostat, zone valve, and relay in the external circuit one at a time. Record the voltmeter reading across the incoming wires.

Is there any voltage reading across the incoming wires?

If voltage is detected, describe the corrective actions taken to fix the external wiring.
