Remove the 1/4” hex screws on the front of the unit above the doors and set them aside.

Locate the 1/4” hex screws on the back of the unit.

Remove the 1/4” hex screws on the back of the unit and set them aside.

Was the existing stainless steel top lifted off with 2 or more people?

Place the new stainless steel top on the unit.

Locate the spring on the top frame of your refrigeration unit

Insert the top half into the frame, ensuring the spring is pulled back with the door

Removing the Stainless Steel Top

Does the unit have an unfinished top?

Check mark

Locate hex screws on the underside of the stainless steel top and unscrew with a 1/4” hex screwdriver.

Check mark

Unscrew the (3) 3/8” hex screws located on the top frame of each door using a 3/8” hex screwdriver.

Check mark

Lift stainless steel top up to remove.

Check mark

Installing the New Door

Check mark

Align new door with the bottom hinge and re-screw the top (3) 3/8” hex bolts to secure the door.

Check mark

Place the stainless steel top back onto the unit and secure with the 1/4” hex bolts.

Door Handle Change

Remove Existing Handle

Check mark

Remove the eight 32 x 1/2” Phillips head screws from the top and bottom bracket of the existing door handle.

Check mark

Remove the handle and set the screws aside for reuse.

Check mark

Assemble New Handle

Check mark

Slide the handle rod into the bottom bracket and top bracket.

Check mark

Insert the lock at an angle into the slot on the backside of the top bracket.

Check mark

Is the lock positioned facing down?

Install New Handle

Check mark

Align the top bracket with the holes on the top of the door and secure with existing screws.
