Ensure safety equipment is worn

Is the ice machine top cover removed for easier access?

Is the ice removed from the evaporator?

Remove all ice from the bin/dispenser

Press the Clean button and select 'Turn off when complete'

Wait approximately 1 minute until the water trough refills and the display indicates Add Chemical

Add the proper amount of ice machine de-scaler to the water trough

Water Fittings and Lines Inspection

Check all water fittings for leaks

Check all water lines for leaks

Refrigeration Tubing Inspection

Ensure refrigeration tubing is not rubbing against other tubing

Ensure refrigeration tubing is not vibrating against panels

Is there adequate airflow around the ice machine?

Clean the area around the ice machine to maintain cleanliness and efficient operation.

Wipe surfaces with a damp cloth rinsed in water to remove dust and dirt.

If greasy residue persists, use a damp cloth with mild dish soap and water solution.

Wipe dry with a clean, soft cloth.

Ensure the following are not used on exterior panels and plastic trim pieces

Disconnect electric power to the ice machine at the electric service switch

Handle condenser fins with care to avoid injury

Clean the condenser at least every six months

Shine a flashlight through the condenser to check for dirt between the fins
