Water Fittings and Lines Inspection

Check all water fittings and lines for leaks

Refrigeration Tubing Inspection

Ensure refrigeration tubing is not rubbing or vibrating against other tubing, panels, etc.

Is there anything obstructing the front of the ice machine?

Ensure adequate airflow through and around the ice machine

Disconnect electric power to the ice machine at the electric service switch

Handle condenser fins with care to avoid injury

Remove the air filter with care

Shine a flashlight through the condenser to check for dirt between the fins

Choose cleaning method for the condenser

Is the condenser clean after using the chosen method?

Call a service agent if dirt still remains

Clean the area around the ice machine to maintain cleanliness and efficient operation.

Wipe surfaces with a damp cloth rinsed in water to remove dust and dirt.

If greasy residue persists, use a damp cloth with mild dish soap and water solution.

Wipe dry with a clean, soft cloth.

Ensure the following are not used during cleaning

Ensure safety equipment is worn

Is the ice machine top cover removed for easier access?

Is ice removed from the evaporator?

Remove all ice from the bin/dispenser

Open the front panel to access the evaporator compartment

Press the Clean button and select 'Turn off when complete'
