NOTICE: If any abnormal noise is generated from any greasing point, perform greasing regardless of the greasing interval. Perform greasing every 10 hours for the first 50 hours operation on a new machine. After the machine is subjected to digging work in the water, be sure to grease the work equipment pins.

Machine parked on a level and firm ground?

Work equipment lowered to the ground and engine stopped?

By using a grease pump, pump in grease through the grease fittings shown by arrows.

Maintenance for every 100, 250, 500 and 1000 hours service should be performed at the same time.

METHOD FOR CHANGING OIL IN HYDRAULIC TANK

• Immediately after the engine is stopped, its parts and oil are still very hot and may cause burn injury. Accordingly, wait until they have cooled down before starting the work.

• When removing the oil filler cap, the oil may spurt out. Rotate it slowly to release the internal pressure, then remove it with care.

If the machine is equipped with a hydraulic breaker, the hydraulic oil deteriorates faster than in the normal bucket digging operation.

WARNING: Immediately after the engine is stopped, its parts and oil are still very hot, and may cause burn injury. Accordingly, wait until they have cooled down before starting the work.

When using compressed air, there is a danger that dirt may scatter and cause personal injury. Always wear protective equipment such as protective eyeglasses and dust mask.

Preparation: Lower the work equipment to the ground and stop the engine.

Preparation: Turn the starting switch to ON (B) position.
