2. By using a grease pump, pump in grease through the grease fitting.

3. Check visually that the greasing has been performed properly.

4. After greasing, wipe off any old grease that is pushed out.

Perform the greasing work every day when operating the machine in the places where the grease flows out easily, such as when traveling through mud or water.

Dump body hinge pin (1 place each of right and left)

Rear suspension (2 places each of right and left)

Differential support (4 places each of right and left)

Warning: Only use Komatsu genuine parts for replacement.

Enter the machine serial number

Transmission oil filter replaced?

Sign off on the replacement procedure

Warning: Immediately after the engine is stopped, its parts and oil are still very hot and may cause burn injury. Wait for the temperature to go down, and then start the work.

Cap of oil filler port (F) turned to release the internal pressure before removing the cap?

Bolts (1) (4 pieces) removed and cover (2) removed?

O-ring (3), spring (4), valve (5), strainer (6), and element (7) removed?

Inside of the case, valve (5), and strainer (6) washed?

New element prepared and installed to the case?

O-ring replaced with a new one, thin film of oil applied to it, and installed?

Cover (2) installed with bolts (1) (4 pieces)?

METHOD FOR CHECKING AND REPLACING STEERING-A ARM MOUNTING BOLT

Ask your Komatsu distributor for checking and replacing the Aarm mounting bolt, lock plate, and holder.

Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!

Material quality of these parts can change as time passes and they are likely to wear out or deteriorate.

Replace them with new ones regardless of their condition after a certain period of usage.

If any of the hose clamps show deterioration like deformation or cracking, replace the clamps at the same time as the hoses.

Also perform the following checks with hydraulic hoses which need not to be replaced periodically.

When replacing hoses, always replace O-rings, gaskets, and other such parts at the same time.

Have your Komatsu distributor replace the defined life parts.

Every 3 years from start of usage or 5 years after manufacturing of seat belt, whichever comes sooner.
