Battery electrolyte level according to the standard

Sign off on the battery electrolyte level check

Warning: Only trained personnel should perform this procedure.

Enter the machine serial number

Check if the filter element needs replacement

Check if the air cleaner element needs replacement

Replacement of Consumable Parts

Replace Steering and hoist oil filter

Replace Hydraulic tank breather

Sign off on the replacement procedure

Warning: Allow parts and oils to cool to the touch before you perform maintenance.

Warning: When removing the oil filler cap, the oil may spurt out. Turn it slowly to release the internal pressure, then remove it carefully.

Warning: After the engine stops, all parts are still very hot, so do not replace the filter immediately. Wait for all parts to cool down before starting the work.

Warning: While the engine is running, high-pressure is generated in the engine fuel piping. When replacing the filter, wait for at least 30 seconds after stopping the engine to let the internal pressure go down before replacing the filter.

Warning: Do not bring any open flame close.

Warning: Be sure to check the wear amount of the brake disc.

Warning: Do not open the cover while the engine is running. Stop the engine always before performing the checking.

Warning: Immediately after the engine is stopped, its parts and oil are still very hot and may cause burn injury.

Place the oil container just under the drain plug to catch the drained oil.

Warning: Only trained personnel should perform this procedure.

Replace consumable parts such as the filter element or air cleaner element at the time of periodic maintenance or before they reach the wear limit.

Was the filter element replaced?

Was the air cleaner element replaced?

The consumable parts should be replaced correctly in order to ensure more economic use of the machine.

When replacing parts, Komatsu recommends using Komatsu genuine parts.

As a result of our continuous efforts to improve product quality, the part number may change.

Inform your Komatsu distributor of the machine serial number and check the latest part number when ordering parts.

Warning: Special techniques and tools are required for this work.

Contact your Komatsu distributor for replacement of the fuel spray prevention cap on fuel doser.

For safe dismantling of the machine at the end of service life, please contact your Komatsu distributor.
