Check that the threads on the spindle shaft are undamaged.

Flange Washer and Blade Inspection

Check the contact surfaces for the following conditions

Are the flange washers free from warping, notching, indentations, and dirt?

Are the flange washers of the correct dimensions?

Check if the machine is low on power, difficult to start, or runs poorly at idle speed

Inspect spark plug cap and ignition lead for damage

Clean the spark plug if dirty and check electrode gap is 0.5 mm

Replace spark plug if necessary

Ensure use of recommended spark plug type

Inspect fuel cap and seal for damage

Clean the machine by rinsing it with clean water after the work is finished.

Is the cooling air intake clean?

Clean the cooling air intake if necessary.

Check that all components are in place and secure

Inspect the following components

Water Delivery System Maintenance

Verify the bushing type on the machine's spindle shaft

Does the bushing correspond with the centre hole of the cutting blade?

Blade and Bushing Compatibility

Check the decal on the blade guard for factory-fitted bushing information

Is the blade marked with the correct diameter of the centre hole?

Are only Husqvarna-supplied bushings being used?

Contact dealer/service workshop if idle setting cannot be adjusted to keep blades stationary

Idle Speed Adjustment Procedure

Start the engine and check the idling setting

Is the cutting blade still while engine is idling?

Adjust Idle Speed Using T Screw

Turn the T screw clockwise until the blade starts to rotate

Turn the T screw anti-clockwise until the blade stops rotating
