Dismantle the bar and chain according to the instructions given in chapter 6.2 step 1 - 12

Replace the worn bar and chain with new ones

Add grease in the centre hole at the tip of the bar

Pump until new grease enters between the nose wheel teeth

Rotate the chain a couple of laps to even out the grease

Dismantle the gear box from the saw adaptor according to the instructions given in chapter 6.2 and 6.3.

Unscrew all M6-screws holding the gear box plate in position, and remove the gear box plate.

Clean the screw heads thoroughly from dust and debris.

Attach the pin wrench to the Chain tension adjustment knob (A).

Attach a regular wrench to the water hose connection (B).

Use the pin wrench to screw the chain tension adjustment knob until it locks together with the water hose connection.

Use the regular wrench on the water hose connection to remove the inlet pipe from the gear box.

Replace the outer sides with new ones

Check that all tools are accounted for

Test the gear box functionality

Dismantle components according to manual

Unscrew and remove the oil plug using an Allen key

Turn the gear box upside down to drain the oil of the gear box

Collect drained oil in a suitable container

Turn the gear box upside down and place it on a solid support with the drive wheel-side facing down

Unscrew all the M6 mounting screws using an Allen key

Flush cold water through the water inlet pipe

Fix the pivoting arm cradle firmly in a vice

Fit the gear box on the pivoting arm cradle with the drive wheel facing up

Knock the head of the centre bolt in the drive wheel slightly

Unscrew the centre bolt of the drive wheel fully

Detach the clamping washer and the drive sprocket

Replace the worn drive sprocket and clamping washer with new ones

Lubricate the countersunk area on the screws with grease

Tighten the screws with the appropriate torque
