Exercise care when making checks, tests, and adjustments with power on

Ensure the indicator is in Setup mode

Refer to the manual for the weight indicator being used

Check all mechanical parts to ensure proper operation

Place a test weight on the same location on the platform multiple times

Remove the access plate from the scale platform

Test Weight Placement and Recording

Determine test weight placement based on weight capacity

Record weight reading at location A

Record weight reading at location B

Record weight reading at location C

Record weight reading at location D

Are there any unusual wear points, paths, or marks on the weighing platform?

Is the scale frame bent or damaged?

Is the junction box lid properly sealed and all cable connectors tight against the enclosure?

Is there any moisture or foreign material around or inside the junction box assembly?

Is the instrument cable damaged or binding the scale?

Is there any debris or material build-up under or around the platform that could prevent the platform from moving freely?

Is the floor drain clear and providing adequate drainage?

Record weight readings at each test weight location

Are the weight readings within desired tolerance?

Activate trim potentiometers by opening the eight hook switches on the PCB

Adjust load cell with highest positive reading to match lowest recorded value

Turn trim potentiometers for minor adjustments

Turn clockwise for a positive increase

Turn counterclockwise for a negative result

Turn all potentiometers counterclockwise if further adjustment is needed

Reapply test weight(s) to location with highest recorded weight reading

Platform Movement and Load Cell Check

Are the load cells not resting against the fixed bumpers?

Is the platform level and stable?

Check for unusual wear on rocker pins.

Examine the rocker pin receivers for wear.

Inspect fixed bumpers for excessive wear or damage.

Inspect the platform and frame for physical damage.
