Record weight readings at test weight locations

Are the weight readings within desired tolerance?

Activate trim potentiometers by opening the eight hook switches on the PCB

Start adjustment at the load cell with the highest positive reading

Adjust trim potentiometers for minor adjustments

Turn trim potentiometers clockwise for a positive increase

Turn trim potentiometers counterclockwise for a negative result

Further adjust potentiometers if needed

Turn all potentiometers counterclockwise until weight reading stabilizes

Fully disconnect each load cell

Check for proper input/output resistances for each load cell

Short the signal leads together and measure resistance with +Excitation wire

Measure resistance with –Excitation wire

Reconnection and Power Application

Ensure the scale has been installed and shimmed properly.

Check all mechanical parts to ensure proper functionality.

Enter the test weight value used for repeatability check.

Place the test weight on the same location on the platform several times and verify consistent weight readings.

Is load cell trimming adjustment needed?

Are the load cells not resting against the fixed bumpers?

Is the platform level and stable?

Check for unusual wear on rocker pins.

Examine the rocker pin receivers for wear.

Inspect the fixed bumpers for excessive wear or damage.

Inspect the platform and frame for physical damage.

Ensure the scale has been installed and shimmed properly.

Check all mechanical parts to ensure they work properly.

Place a test weight on the platform and record the weight reading.

Repeat the test weight placement several times and record each weight reading.

Did the scale provide the same weight reading each time?
