Is the pump located in an area with frost risk?

Loosen the vent screw in the pump head

Remove the drain plug from the base

Ensure safety measures are in place

Is the water temperature safe to handle?

Ensure all power supplies to the pump are switched off and cannot be accidentally switched on

Check if the motor is fitted with grease nipples

Lubricate motors fitted with grease nipples using high-temperature, lithium-based grease

Refer to the instructions on the fan cover for lubrication details

Determine the ambient temperature

Select the appropriate maintenance interval based on ambient temperature and motor type

Replace or lubricate motor bearings according to the selected interval

Ensure all power supplies to the pump are switched off

Verify that power supplies cannot be accidentally switched on

Is the motor idle for more than 6 months of the year?

Grease the motor bearings if the pump is taken out of operation
