CPU Or Display/Keyboard Board Replacement
Board Removal
Remove connectors from CPU board
Remove connector J102 from power supply board with care to avoid bending pins
Remove four nuts from CPU board and remove CPU board and Keyboard/Display board
Remove J201 from CPU board with care to avoid bending pins
Remove board
Board Installation
Reverse removal procedure to install new board
Software Configuration
Temperature Calibration
Preparation
Connect the temperature probe connector to J302 on CPU board
Turn Power switch to the OFF position
Entering Calibration Mode
Press and hold the SETPOINT key while turning Power ON
Press SETPOINT to end LED display test
Enter 0012 on the display and press SETPOINT
Calibration Process
Ensure the unit is in Calibration mode and press SETPOINT
Circulating Water Bath Cleaning
General Cleaning
Clean the bath with mild soapy water
Rinse the bath with distilled water
Add formaldehyde or quaternary ammonium germicide if algae or microorganisms are present
Chemical Usage Precautions
Ensure the following chemicals are never used
Limit the use of necessary chemicals to a maximum of four hours
Removing Discoloration
Wear heavy gloves and goggles for protection
Circulating Pump Replacement
Preparation
Drain water from bath
Pump Removal
Remove the two pump leads attached to power switch
Remove green wire from pump to ground lug
Loosen the two visible hose clamps with a screwdriver
Remove tubing from pump
Disconnect pump from pump bracket by removing two screws
Remove pump from bath
Heater Replacement
Heater Removal
Remove nuts and disconnect wires from heater leads
Remove two hex nuts from heater ends using a 13/16" socket
Remove heater
Heater Installation
Install new heater
Reconnect wires and secure nuts
Post Installation Check
Is the heater securely installed?
