Thermo Fisher Circulating Water Bath 2867

Clean the bath with mild soapy water.

Rinse the bath with distilled water.

Add formaldehyde or quaternary ammonium germicide if algae or microorganisms are present.

Ensure the following chemicals are never used

Limit the use of necessary chemicals to a maximum of four hours.

Wear heavy gloves and goggles for protection.

Ensure a new temperature probe is installed into the bath

Connect the temperature probe connector to J302 on CPU board

Is the power switch in the OFF position?

Press and hold the SETPOINT key while turning Power ON

End the LED display test by pressing SETPOINT

Adjust display to read 0012 and press SETPOINT

Remove connector J302 from CPU board

Remove temperature sensor fitting from inside bath pan

Remove rubber grommet from temperature sensor

Carefully slide sensor through the control housing and remove

Remove the two pump leads attached to power switch

Remove green wire from pump to ground lug

Loosen the two visible hose clamps with a screwdriver

Disconnect pump from pump bracket by removing two screws

Remove four leads from thermostat terminals

Remove two screws from thermostat bracket and remove bracket

Carefully tilt bath on its side

Remove eight screws from bottom plate and remove plate

Remove insulation from bottom of pan and between pan and control panel wall

Loosen two nuts from thermostat bulb bracket
