Remove fuses and lock off disconnect

Check for oil and dust accumulation on the wheel

Clean the wheel evenly to prevent imbalance

Clean the housing to ensure smooth operation

Disconnect power source and lock out tag

Ensure unit is non-functional (fuses removed, disconnect locked off)

Clean exterior surfaces of the motor

Remove dust buildup on the motor housing

Check for any signs of damage or wear on the motor

Ensure motor is properly cooled after cleaning

Check all fasteners for tightness and wheel alignment

Is the wheel rotation clockwise when viewed from the top of the fan?

Ensure all vibration isolator connectors are tight and washers are in place

For BSQ-M Fans: Are the pulleys properly aligned?

For BSQ-M Fans: Measure belt deflection with moderate thumb pressure (inches)

Is the belt tension adjusted correctly?

Check motor amperage and compare with nameplate rating

Is the motor operating under safe load conditions?

Disconnect, lock, and tag power source before servicing.

Ensure the unit is made non-functional by removing fuses and locking off disconnect.

Clean exterior surfaces of the motor to remove dust buildup.

Are grease fittings provided on the motor?

Is the motor temperature below 104ºF (40ºC)?

Replace grease in motors with fittings if applicable and temperature conditions are met.

Check belts for wear and tightness

Are the belts showing signs of wear?

Use matched belts for multi-groove pulleys

Loosen the tensioning device to remove the belt by hand

Avoid forcing belts on or off to prevent cord damage
