Inspect and ensure all components are secure

Adjust and tighten components as necessary

Check all fasteners for tightness and wheel alignment

Is wheel rotation clockwise when viewed from top of fan?

Ensure all vibration isolator connectors are tight and washers are in place

For BSQ-M Fans: Are pulleys properly aligned?

For BSQ-M Fans: Measure belt deflection with moderate thumb pressure

Check motor amperage to ensure it is within safe load conditions

Observe operation for unusual noises when fan is started

Ensure inlets and approaches to fan are clean and free from obstruction

Disconnect power source and lock out tag

Ensure unit is non-functional by removing fuses and locking off disconnect

Clean exterior surfaces of the motor

Remove dust buildup on the motor housing

Check for any signs of damage or wear on the motor

Ensure all safety measures are re-enabled and power source is reconnected

Inspect belt alignment and tension on BSQ-M unit only

Adjust and tighten belt as necessary

Adjust (tighten) belt tension after the first 24-48 hours of operation
