Filter Material Maintenance
Perform filter mat change as follows:
a) Filter mat cool air intake
· Take out the filter mat and clean it, replace it if damaged. Clean the filter mat by brushing or washing.
· Return the filter mat to the silencer chamber.
· Secure the filter mat using the fixing bolts.
Cleaning:
Clean the filter mat by brushing or washing.
Perform filter mat change as follows:
· Open the louver grilles of the inlet filter.
Fine Oil Separator Replacement
Compressor switched off and depressurized
Ball valve at the after-cooler opened and closed
Plastic oil extraction pipe detached
Plastic control air line detached
All hexagonal head screws from the pressure control valve loosened
Two screws in the swivel direction of the pressure control valve loosened and removed
Pressure control valve swiveled inwards
All hexagon screws on the circumference of the pressure reservoirs cover removed
Cheese head screw for lifting the reservoir cover screwed in clockwise
Oil Replacement
DANGER: Air/oil under pressure will cause severe personal injury or death. Shut down the compressor, relieve the system of all pressure, disconnect, lockout and tagout the power supply to the compressor package before removing valves, caps, plugs, fittings, bolts and filters.
Compressor shut down and secured against accidental restarts?
Demister vessel depressurized?
Oil screw plug slowly opened to relieve any residual pressure?
Oil screw plug removed?
Oil drain from the pressure reservoir opened?
Oil drained at operating temperature through the drain hose?
Oil drain closed?
Amount of oil filled up to the mark 'maximum oil level'
4000 Hourly / 12 Monthly Compressor Check
Replace oil filter element
Replace the oil filter cartridge as follows:
· Switch off the screw compressor unit, secure it against an accidental restart and ensure that it is depressurized.
· Wait at least 5 minutes until the oil has settled, i.e. until the air has bubbled out.
· Unscrew the oil filter cartridge with a suitable tool.
· Dispose of the oil filter cartridge properly.
· Lightly oil the seal of the new oil filter cartridge.
· Screw on the new oil filter cartridge and tighten by hand (see the notes on the oil filter cartridge).
· Let the screw compressor unit run for approx. 2 minutes.
36000 Hourly / 108 Monthly Compressor Check
WARNING: Switch off the screw compressor unit, secure it against an accidental restart and ensure that it is depressurized.
Waited at least 5 minutes until the oil has settled, i.e. until the air has bubbled out?
Unscrewed the oil filter cartridge with a suitable tool?
Disposed of the oil filter cartridge properly?
Lightly oiled the seal of the new oil filter cartridge?
Screwed on the new oil filter cartridge and tightened by hand?
Let the screw compressor unit run for approx. 2 minutes?
Checked for leaks?
Checked the oil level?
