Routine Ice Dispenser Cleaning
Preparation
Stop ice production by lifting the wire signal arm to the 'up' or OFF position (side mounted) or setting the On/Off power switch to 'O' (rear mounted)
Cleaning the Ice Container
Remove the ice container by lifting up and out.
Empty the ice container.
Clean the container with mild detergent and rinse with clear water.
Allow the container to dry completely before replacing in the freezer.
Cleaning the Shelf and Chute
Remove ice chips from the shelf and chute that support the ice container.
Routine Door Gasket Inspection
Check that all the door gaskets are in place and intact
Do the seals touch the cabinet on all four sides?
Gasket Condition
Is the refrigerator/freezer door slightly open?
Is the gasket dirty, worn, cracked, or poorly fitted?
