Is the fresh food compartment temperature between 34°F and 40°F?

Is the freezer compartment temperature 0°F or lower?

Display and Control System Check

Is either digital display continuously flashing?

Press the Mode button to switch the display between Fahrenheit and Centigrade, if needed.

Allow the refrigerator and freezer to operate with the doors closed for 8 to 12 hours before placing food inside

Ensure controls are not adjusted during the initial cooling period

Check if 24 hours have passed since the refrigerator started running

Make small and gradual adjustments to the temperature settings if needed

Allow time for temperatures to change and stabilize after adjustments

Clean smooth handles and exterior surfaces using soap and water and a soft cloth

Avoid using commercial household cleaners, ammonia, or alcohol to clean handles

Avoid using a dry cloth to clean smooth doors

Clean stainless steel front and handles with non-abrasive soapy water and a dishcloth

Rinse with clean water and a soft cloth

Wipe stubborn spots with an ammonia-soaked paper towel, then rinse

Use a non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner and follow manufacturer's instructions

Check that all door seals touch the cabinet on all four sides

Is the refrigerator/freezer door slightly open?

Clean dirty gaskets with soap and water and a clean soft cloth

Replace worn, cracked, or poorly fitted gaskets

Ensure the wire signal arm is in the correct position

Is the water supply hooked up immediately?

If not, is the ice maker turned OFF?

Has the refrigerator been installed properly and cooled for several hours?
